Carpet Drying and Dehumidifying Machine
Carpet Drying and Dehumidifying Machine is a 380 Volt, 5.3 Kw machine used for removing moisture and drying carpets.
The D 7000 Model Dehumidifier and Carpet Drying Machine can be used in many different areas, but it is most commonly used as a carpet drying machine
For carpet washing companies, one of the most challenging tasks is drying the washed carpets. If dried outside, depending on weather conditions, it can take between 7 to 10 days. Carpet squeezing machines can dry carpets by 90 – 95%.
Since drying washed carpets takes a long time and carpet washing companies receive payment upon delivery, they need to deliver the washed carpets to the customers as soon as possible.
Moreover, in today’s world, delivering washed carpets promptly is a significant success and privilege for carpet washing companies.
Carpet drying and dehumidifying machines have come to the rescue of these companies, reducing the delivery time to as little as 24 hours.
Veteran companies in the industry also acknowledge that drying carpets outside can expose them to various problems, such as fading colors due to sunlight.
If carpets are tried to be dried outside, they can get affected by exhaust smoke from passing vehicles, outdoor dust, and even bird droppings.
Since carpet drying machines dry carpets in a closed drying chamber, such issues are non-existent. They also prevent problems like color fading or water stains, especially on light-colored carpets.
Carpet drying and dehumidifying machines economically dry the washed carpets in a short time, providing convenience to both the operator and the customer.
Nowadays, customers who get their carpets washed are knowledgeable about the washing practices of companies. While in the early 2010s, customers asked about the washing methods and if automatic carpet washing machines were used, today they inquire about the drying methods. They prefer companies that use carpet drying and dehumidifying machines.
The working principle of the carpet drying and dehumidifying machine is as follows:
To dry carpets at full efficiency, an isolated room of approximately 5 x 7 m = 35m² is required. The arrangement of carpet hangers should be such that the 7-meter part is supported from 2 or 3 points, and the distance between the hangers should be 13-15 cm.
How Does the Carpet Drying Machine Work?
An insulated 35 m² carpet drying room has a capacity of approximately 400-500 m² of carpet. The machine can dry this in an average of 12-16 hours, consuming 5.3 kW electricity per hour, depending on air conditions.
Carpets washed during the day are hung in the drying room, the machine is turned on, and the room is closed. The machine automatically detects the room’s temperature and humidity and starts working. Warm air increases the room’s moisture, which the dehumidifying unit captures and converts into water, which is then expelled outside.
If the room’s temperature and humidity exceed the set levels, small ventilation fans within the machine are activated to regulate them.
While researching carpet drying machines, you might encounter varying prices. This is mainly due to differences in material quality, craftsmanship, and the type of gas used in the machines.
In addition to carpet drying, these machines are also used for drying flooded buildings, drying fruits and vegetables, drying facade materials used in construction like cladding after manufacturing, and quickly drying buildings after painting.
