Processing personal data

Access to this website (the “Site”) and requests for information or services through it are subject to this policy. Personal data collected from users or provided by them is compiled and processed by PAK Makina (the “Controller”). The following explains our practices concerning personal data and how we process it.

This notice explains the processing of personal data before users access the relevant sections of the Site or provide their information. Users should read it before completing forms. The Turkish source policy states that use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the practices and processing purposes described here. This notice does not apply to websites linked from the Site; check those websites' own privacy policies.

Purposes of processing

Personal data obtained directly through online forms or collected automatically is processed to:

1. Provide and manage services offered through the Site and fulfil requests relating to them.
2. Answer questions about PAK Makina products, services or the Site through the contact section.
3. Administer the Site and carry out troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistics and auditing.
4. Send information about Site updates.

How personal data is processed

Data is processed mainly by automated procedures linked to these purposes. The Controller takes security measures intended to protect against loss, misuse and alteration.

Categories of personal data

Information supplied through forms, telephone, email or other contact channels may include names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, age, gender and information supplied for business purposes, such as CVs or media enquiries. The source policy also describes automatic collection of:

• Technical information, including IP address, browser type and version, time zone, browser plug-ins, operating system and platform.
• Visit information, including full URLs, entry and exit navigation, dates and times, page response times, download errors, time spent on pages, scrolling, clicks, mouse interactions and exit methods.

Required and optional information

Fields marked with an asterisk are required to respond to the relevant request. Missing, incomplete or inaccurate required information may prevent the requested activity from being carried out. Not providing optional information does not prevent provision of the service.

Retention period

The Controller processes personal data for no longer than needed for the processing purpose, or for a longer period where permitted or required by law. A retention period is not extended without a reasonable basis.

Cookies

Cookies distinguish users, support website navigation and help improve the Site. The cookie policy below describes their purposes and how they can be managed.

People who may process personal data

Employees and business partners appointed as processors or authorised persons may access data under the Controller's authority and receive appropriate instructions. The same applies to employees and partners of an appointed processor. Data may also be disclosed to third parties appointed as processors, including external providers supporting PAK Makina.

Disclosure and transfer

Under the source policy, personal data is not disclosed or transferred to third parties other than appointed processors. PAK Makina does not share personal data with parties that use it for their own purposes except where required by law.

Children

The Site has no content specifically directed at children. Children should not disclose information to PAK Makina without parental permission. Parents and guardians are encouraged to explain safe internet use and follow the relevant procedures for children's personal information.

Controller and processors

The Turkish source identifies the Controller as the sole proprietorship of Barış T.YILDIZ, with the registered address Arifbey Mah. Orhangazi Cad. 5B, Arifiye, Sakarya. It identifies Veridyen, based in İzmir, as the provider managing the website servers. These are the details in the archived policy; they must be checked against the current operating arrangements before domain launch. A full processor list can be requested through Contact PAK Makina.

Your rights

The source refers to Articles 10 and 11 of Türkiye's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. It describes rights to ask whether personal data is processed, obtain access and information about its origin, purposes and methods, and request updating, correction or completion. It also describes requests to stop processing, erase, anonymise or block data, objections on legal grounds and applications to the Personal Data Protection Board where appropriate. How cookies work
